Through ROC, UKIO offers an international bursary scheme to those working in the fields of diagnostic imaging and oncology from resource poor countries to attend the congress
Since 2023, ROC has funded a number of imaging and oncology professionals from Least Developed Countries and Low-income countries to attend UKIO through travel bursaries. The scheme aims to promote and extend the ideals of education at UKIO to support federated best practice in imaging and oncology across the world, and was initiated by Dr Rizwan Malik during his time as UKIO President.
Further information about 2027 funding will be available before the end of 2026.
