UKIO launches hybrid event platform

Following the success of two years of UKIO Online, UKIO 2022 will no longer just be a 3-day onsite event. Delegates will have access to a hybrid congress platform and app, which will give access to UKIO content and features before the in-person event and long after you leave Liverpool. Full congress delegates will have full access to the platform, and certain useful features will also be available to those on an exhibition visitor ticket. We’re also pleased to announce a digital-only option, which will give access to a limited amount of UKIO content and give you a flavour of the in-person event if you’re not able to attend in person at all. This platform and app is available for free to everyone who signs up.

Features:

• Networking: View who else is attending, and make connections and interact in advance with other delegates, speakers and exhibitors. The attendee list allows you to find others of interest by searching by name or keywords and the platform will also generate suggested matches for you.

• Pre-congress webinars: GE Healthcare and Philips will be offering added-value educational content in the run up to UKIO as live webinars. Click here to find out more about these sessions and how to join.

• On-demand sessions: Our sponsors have provided useful on-demand content for you to watch at your leisure. We’ll also be recording selected sessions from the main programme and making these available to watch after the in-person event.

• Build your own agenda: Make the most of your time and create your own programme with sessions you want to attend. Use the platform to scroll through the dates and take a look at what’s running each day, or make it even easier and filter by date, speaker, type of session, topic or your keyword. If you want to keep all your sessions of interest in one place, then you can build your own agenda by registering to sessions. You’ll then be able to find your personal schedule in your My Event area. You can even download your personal programme or export sessions to your calendar.

• Exhibitor showcase: Our exhibitors will be adding useful information and resources to the platform to enhance your in-person interactions with them.

• Delegate bag: The useful resources that you would have received in a physical delegate bag previously can now be accessed conveniently as digital resources in this online portal.

All of the features above are available to full congress delegates. *Those on an exhibition visitor ticket or digital-only ticket will be able to access a selection of the features.
