UKIO 2025
The UK Imaging and Oncology Congress (UKIO) – the UK’s largest multidisciplinary event in the field – returns to Liverpool in June 2025
UKIO 2025 will take place at the ACC Liverpool on 2-4 June with the theme Community & Consciousness: One Health and aims to encourage us as an imaging and oncology community to think about sustainability and the importance of joined-up thinking that considers the impact of our individual actions on the global village. The health of the population and the health of the planet are intrinsically connected and so this year’s congress will also continue last year’s theme of ‘putting people first’ both in terms of patients and also the sustainability, health and wellbeing of the workforce.
As the UK’s largest imaging and oncology event, UKIO continues to be the place to come for cutting-edge, practice-based content for a multidisciplinary audience, to join up with like-minded professionals, to gain up to three days of CPD, and to visit a large professional exhibition of the latest state-of-the-art equipment, services and technology – and will continue to feature:
- An accessible pricing structure that offers value-for-money CPD with affordable fees for full congress access and a full-access free ticket on the Wednesday, plus team tickets to split attendance, and exhibition-only options that can be used on any day.
- A truly multidisciplinary programme put together by an expert working party.
- Exciting plenary sessions.
- Clinical oncology sessions throughout the programme.
- Lots of hands-on and case-based workshops.
- Dedicated sessions for trainees and students.
- Curated sessions on innovation, technology and service delivery from industry partners and further added value content from the Education on the Stands programme.
- Research at the heart – with proffered papers sessions, ePosters, the return of the Research hub and the Pitch your Project initiative.
- Lots of opportunities for networking and socialising, as well as wellness activities.
New for 2025 will be a focus on providing general radiology for the specialist content for radiologists, and also bringing in a Radiotherapy Hub as a dedicated exhibition and education space for our therapy and clinical oncology delegates.
Registration will open before the end of 2024 and the programme will be available in early 2025.
