Social and health & well-being

The congress offers lots of opportunities for networking with speakers, colleagues and industry contacts, as well as a full programme of social events.

This year’s congress will also feature a full health and well-being programme – check here for updates

Monday 10 June – Welcome wine reception

The welcome reception will be held within the exhibition. Free for all to attend, delegates are encouraged to take this excellent opportunity to meet with exhibitors, society representatives and colleagues. This year the reception will feature the UKIO chorus – a choir made up of you! See below for more information.

Time: 17:45-19:00 – Free for all to attend.

Monday 10 June – UKIO chorus at the wine reception

New for 2019 – the UKIO chorus – made up of you! Join us during the morning coffee break and/or lunchtime to rehearse two songs with professional signing coaches and perform together during the wine reception.  The choir will sing two songs in 3-part harmony – Can’t buy me love and I’ll get by with a little help from my friends (what else in Liverpool but the Beatles!).  If you want to practice beforehand then you can download the MP3 teacher tracks or – if you’re feeling particularly musical – the sheet music here

You don’t need to be able to read music or sing well – just be prepared to have some fun!  You can sign up in advance by logging back into your conference booking or just turn up on the day. All welcome – click here to find out more.

The singing coaches are kindly supported by Agfa.

Time: During the wine reception

Monday 10 June – Curry & quiz night
