UKIO 2026

The UK Imaging and Oncology Congress (UKIO) – the UK’s largest multidisciplinary event in the field – returns to Liverpool in June 2026

UKIO 2026 will take place at the ACC Liverpool on 8-10 June with the theme Putting humanity at the centre of healthcare: In the age of the machine – ensuring that as technology rapidly transforms the face of healthcare we continue to place the human experience at the heart of it – both patients and the teams who deliver diagnosis, treatment, and care.

As the UK’s largest imaging and oncology event, UKIO continues to be the place to come for cutting-edge, practice-based content for a multidisciplinary audience, to join up with like-minded professionals, to gain up to three days of CPD, and to visit a large professional exhibition of the latest state-of-the-art equipment, services and technology. As always, it will feature:

  • A truly multidisciplinary programme put together by an expert working party – for everyone working in diagnostic imaging, oncology and radiological sciences.
  • Exciting plenary sessions.
  • Dedicated sessions for trainees and students.
  • Lots of hands-on and case-based workshops.
  • Curated sessions on innovation, technology and service delivery in collaboration with industry partners and further added value content from the Education on the Stands programme.
  • Research at the heart – with proffered papers sessions, ePosters, the return of the Research hub and the Pitch your Project initiative.
  • A full wellbeing programme.
  • An accessible pricing structure with affordable fees for full congress access and a full-access free ticket on the Wednesday, and exhibition-only tickets.

And new developments for 2026 will include:

  • A dedicated stream throughout the congress for radiologists, providing all the updates you’ll need for on call and delivering DGH radiology.
  • A new look stream for radiology trainees.
  • Further development of the radiotherapy hub in the exhibition.
  • An exciting new social event at the end of the first day.
  • The return of one-day ticket options to allow for more flexible attendance.

Registration will open before the end of 2025 and the programme will be available in early 2026.
