UKIO Online 2020

UKIO Online 2020 will present some of the best sessions from the programme planned for the 2020 event that was due to be held in Livepool on 1-3 June 2020.

Delivered in bite-sized chunks over the summer of 2020, keep an eye on this page for the planned sessions and registration details. UKIO Opening plenary: Communication, overcoming adversity, and the new normal – Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Paralympian, Crossbench Peer, and Broadcaster

Holder of 11 Paralympic gold medals, Tanni is acknowledged as one of the most gifted and courageous atheletes of her generation and has become a global ambassador for disability sport. In December last year, she was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award at the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year show. Her career and achievements make her perfectly placed to open UKIO Online with an uplifting talk around teamwork, motivation, diversity, overcoming adversity and achievement, and her life and work in the new normal. MSK: Sports imaging

A one-hour update on sports imaging with talks on foot, ankle and shoulder injuries and pars interarticularis injuries in elite sport, followed by a live Q&A session with the speakers. Book your place.
